Department Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Tax Map Department include, but are not limited to:

  • Survey reviews (descriptions and plat maps) in accordance with Geauga County Conveyance Standards
  • Land Contract reviews
  • Assigns Addresses
  • Updates and Maintains Geauga County Tax Maps
  • Assists public with historical Tax Maps and surveys database
